Prep Tour
The Prep Tour is the first stage of competitive junior golf in the Idaho Junior Tour. Juniors playing on the Prep Tour should be prepared to play golf individually, Juniors are expected to have a knowledge of how to play golf as well as how to apply common Rules.​
Ages
Open to juniors age 8-12, juniors must be age eight by June 1st of current year

Format
Individual stroke play, 9-holes
​
Divisions and Yardage
Girls 8-9 | 2,000 - 2,500
Boys 8-9 | 2,000 - 2,500
Girls 10-12 | 2,000-2,500
Boys 10-12 | 2,000-2,500
​
District Championship
Juniors must have played in THREE Idaho Junior Tour events to qualify to play in the District Championship.
Juniors playing in the 8-9 division will conclude their season at the District Championship.

Idaho Junior Am
Qualifying for the Idaho Junior Am is determined by Player of the Year points earned over the season or qualifying at the District Championship

Register for Tournaments
Juniors wishing to play on the Idaho Junior Tour must first become a Junior Tour member. If you need to renew your membership for the 2026 season please do so on the "About" page.

Once you have renewed your membership you will be able to register for events.
