Hard Card

The Junior Tour Hard Card, makes sure all junior events around the state are conducted under the same rules. 

  • Juniors will be provided a hard card at the start of each event, either before teeing off or during registration.

  • It is the responsibility of the junior to be familiar with the hard card and have it on hand during tournaments

Spectator Card

All parents, unless under suspension from the IGA, have the rightright to watch their child participate in Idaho Junior Tournaments. All spectators must adhere to this policy, understanding that any breach will result in removal from future events. 

Idaho Junior Tour staff members have the authority to remove any spectator who is not abiding by our spectator policies.

IJGF Financial Assistance

Juniors seeking financial assistance to play in tournaments, get lessons or help with any golf expenses may apply. IdJGF Financial Assistance program funds are made possible by proceeds generated from the IJGF Auction.

Cody Hayes Scholarship

Cody Hayes Memorial Scholarship is sponsored by the Idaho Junior Golf Foundation. 

  • Open to graduating high school seniors

  • Must submit the completed application to be considered

Play Up Request

All juniors have the option to "Play Up" a division. 

  • Once a junior Plays Up, they will not be able to move back down. 

  • Juniors moving from 12U series to Championship Series will not be allowed to move back down.

How old do I have to be to play on the Junior Tour?

The Junior Tour is open to boys and girls age eight up to their nineteenth birthday or the day they enter college, whichever comes first. 

How many tournaments do I have to play in?

Juniors wanting to play in the District Championship MUST play in at LEAST three Idaho Junior Tour events. 

  • Local junior qualifiers do not apply

What is the Junior Tour Max 10 Rule?

All Juniors (Championship and 12-U Series) will be playing under the Max 10 Rule.

  • Excluding Idaho Junior Am for Championship Series only

What age division will I be playing in?

12-U Series

  • Girls 8-9

  • Boys 8-9

  • Girls 10-12

  • Boys 10-12

Championship Series

  • Girls 13-14

  • Boys 13-14

  • Girls 15-18

  • Boys 15-18

Age determination date is June 1. The age a junior is on that date, is the age he/she is considered for the entire season.

Who is eligible to play in the Idaho Junior Am?

Juniors playing in the 8-9 division will conclude their season at the District Championship. Juniors 10-18 will have a chance to earn a spot in the Idaho Junior Am. 

Qualifying for the Idaho Junior Am is determined by the following:

  • Player of the Year points earned over the season

  • Qualifying at the District Championship

  • Juniors in the top 1,000 on Junior Golf Scoreboard or AJGA rankings

When will I get my Youth on Course card?

Youth on Course membership cards will no longer be avialble for juniors starting January 1, 2021.
